So much green and nature all around, and the people are great. Morelia, the capital of Michoacan, is super close. There are lots of activities, especially the "TEMAZCALES," a natural sauna that's an amazingly hot experience! It feels like another world, with Mother Nature at her best. We'll come back and stay at the hotel longer.

The all-day pass was $70 pesos. The rooms were decent, but my massage was cut short and the woman was late.
The lake was gorgeous, though it seemed to have less water than it did two years ago. The weather was lovely, but nights got chilly, so campers should be prepared. Camping here felt magical. The facilities were fine, and the onsite shop was okay but expensive. There are cheaper, better places nearby to get food and firewood.
The food was delicious, and the cabin showers had instant hot water, which is rare in the area. The cabins get very cold at night, but we came prepared. They seem understaffed, yet the staff do everything they can to make the stay a great experience. We had a great time.
This was a nightmare, and I highly recommend saving your money and staying away. It was freezing, and we paid extra for a heater that didn't work. My mum and I have had nausea and diarrhea for over three days since leaving, and we believe we got sulfur poisoning from the unsanitary baths. With no phone reception, we had to pay them a ridiculous amount for a taxi back to human civilisation. The food was terrible and limited. We also met Mexicans who had booked three days but left early because of the conditions.
