Orchard Wellness Safari Suites

We’d expected a mixed experience from the reviews, but ended up pleasantly surprised. Our glamping tent was in a good spot, and it was a good-value stay with breakfast included. There were ants in the outdoor shower room, though that’s what you might expect when glamping. We also had a stunning suite in the main building with a great bathroom. Breakfast went beyond what we expected: superb rote canai, freshly cooked eggs, lovely fruit, and more. The kids loved the pool and bouncy castle, while we enjoyed walking through the beautiful orchard. There were a few quirks, but it was a really interesting and enjoyable stay. We went out for dinner at an amazing local shabu shabu restaurant.

We recently held our team-building event at Orchard Wellness Resort, and the experience was disappointing. Rooms and public areas weren’t kept clean, and the food arrangements fell well below expectations. The resort has a lovely setting and concept, with a lot of potential, but poor management and a lack of attention to hygiene standards are a real waste of it. We sincerely hope the management and founders take these concerns seriously and improve the resort’s quality and upkeep.

The spa was great, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the resort felt calm, with no pollution around. The bathroom water wasn't hot enough, while the jacuzzi was too hot. Just a small hiccup.

The pool and spa were well maintained, and the clean, roomy rooms were comfortable. Orchard Resort & Spa Melaka has a quiet, nature-filled setting that made it a lovely break from the city. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. It suited a relaxing visit, and I’d recommend it to families, couples, or solo travellers looking for a peaceful place in Melaka.
