The Luxurious 1256, Forest Flow Villa

The one real positive was the spacious living area, where the family could gather. Beyond that, our 4D3N stay was horrible. There were 21 of us, and every day at least eight people couldn’t shower. We also couldn’t wash dishes, and the water dispenser wouldn’t dispense water. I wouldn’t recommend this villa to a large family, especially when it’s advertised for 20 people and the water supply clearly can’t cope. On the first day, the host blamed the shortage on the swimming pool using too much water and told us to wait 1-2 hours for the tank to refill. We asked for someone to check it, but weren’t convinced the worker knew what he was doing. Later, the host suggested one of us might have turned off a valve, even though we were the only villa with the problem. Why was the valve with the other main switches instead of near the water tank? We also heard from a friend who stayed just before us that they had the same water issue throughout their five-day visit. When we raised this, the reply was that water was slow because those guests had stayed five days. How is that our problem, and why take back-to-back bookings if length of stay affects the supply? On day two, nobody could connect to the Wi-Fi. We were told to restart the router, but it didn’t help. The water problem happened again, so we asked to use another nearby villa just to shower. It took a long time to get an answer. After some of our family had already driven to the villa they said was available, we were told there were still guests inside. When we asked for a refund, the explanation suddenly became that the whole A'famosa area had water problems because it was holiday season. Aren’t holiday villas meant to be full during holidays? None of these excuses made sense or were acceptable. The last straw was being asked to remove a bad review one of us had posted. We should be able to warn future guests instead of letting them have the same experience. Never again.
