The room was cheap for me because I used my trip.com points. I only stayed one night, thank goodness. The staff seemed friendly, though I didn’t need to ask them for anything, so I can’t say how helpful they’d be. There were just two small soaps and two little shampoo packets, plus two slightly old towels. I found a cockroach, and there’s no lift or security, so anyone could walk up the three floors to my room. I could hear a noisy air conditioner from the next building, traffic from the road, and smell secondhand smoke from somewhere. Food choices nearby weren’t great, mostly the same sort of thing. Parking is on the street, so you have to pay and hope you get lucky.

I picked this hotel for its location, and it was OK considering the facilities nearby. The reception is on the second level, which is quite hard for older people carrying big bags. There’s no elevator, and parking is scarce.

The room was OK and acceptable, but getting up a couple of flights of stairs is a bit of a hike, especially with a suitcase. The local and tourist taxes are added after you’ve paid for the room, which can make the Booking.com price seem deceptive.

I came to KL in an emergency, and this was a good-priced option for seven people. The room was comfortable and had enough necessities. The front desk was very helpful.
