The shower head on the water heater wasn't spraying properly. I thought the water pressure was low, but my girlfriend found it was clogged. We told reception, and a handyman arrived quickly and replaced it, fixing the problem. Toothbrushes and toothpaste were among the usual amenities, which I appreciated. There were plenty of parking spaces outside, with few cars even at night, though we wondered if there'd be enough if the hotel were full. We chose Hotel Kobemas for its convenient location and budget price. Most of the places we planned to visit in Ayer Keroh were just a few minutes' drive away. The weathered facade made us chuckle a little, and the age showed in the facilities. We had a pleasant stay and can't complain for what we paid, though some things could be improved. A strategic location for visiting Ayer Keroh.

Parking was easy, with plenty of spaces around the shop lots. The location is convenient if you're visiting Ayer Keroh, but the room needs proper maintenance. The air conditioner clearly hadn't been serviced in a long time, the bed was uncomfortable, and water pressure was weak, with the shower head partly blocked. For the condition, the price doesn't feel justified and should be lower.

The photos on Agoda made Tiz Hotel look very different from what we found. I couldn't sleep on the basic spring bed because it was so uncomfortable. The towels looked dirty, and the toilet wouldn't flush, which was disgusting. I'll upload photos and make a complaint on Agoda. Check carefully before booking or coming here so you don't get cheated like we did.

The hotel staff and manager were kind and helped sort out my concern, which I appreciate. But the room I got didn't match what I'd seen online at all. I'd booked a double bed, and was given two singles. It felt like a complete scam.

The hotel is old, and the food was a bit bland with limited choices. It's a cheaper place to stop before travelling farther, but it's far from Melaka city, and there are no nearby restaurants or convenience stores.
