Royale Hotel

The room key stopped working well before checkout, and the bed didn’t smell clean. They also didn’t clean the room when I stayed more than one day. It’s a very run-down place, and there are much better choices in Ipoh. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room was spacious, smelled pleasant, and had a lovely view. Even on the 3rd floor, the water pressure was excellent, and the linens were clean and fragrant. There was plenty of soap, shower gel, shampoo, and toothbrushes, and all the plug points worked perfectly. I liked that the rooms are non-smoking and have smoke detectors. If you smoke, there’s a smoking room in the lobby. The elevator was convenient, especially for bringing my parents, and the luxurious fragrance in the lobby was lovely. A wonderful stay, 10/10, I’d definitely come again! ❤️

I barely slept during my 2-night stay. At night there were strange noises, some loud and some creepy, and the room was full of cockroaches, which made it feel dirty and uncomfortable. The room itself was old and worn out. It was a very unpleasant experience, and I definitely don’t recommend this hotel.

The location is really convenient, with eateries, pharmacies, banks, 24hrs convenience stores, and retail outlets within walking distance or a short drive. There’s also FOC private parking space. The front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and cleanliness was maintained from the front end to the room. They provided toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee, and 2in1 hair and body shampoo. I’m definitely coming back if I visit here again. Keep up the good work ❤️
