The view from the swimming pool was stunning, with Penang Bridge, the sea, and a wide panorama of Penang in sight. The three-bedroom unit was clean and well kept, from the beds and living area to the rooms and bathrooms. Still, the facilities made me decide I wouldn't return. There was no iron in the unit. The receptionist said guests have to use the single iron in the Level 13 multipurpose hall. With 42 floors and countless units, sharing just one is unreasonable, and an iron is a basic necessity. There were no mirrors in the rooms or living area either, only in the bathrooms. I've never stayed in a hotel or residence without a room mirror, and it was inconvenient for a place marketed as a service residence. The lift setup was frustrating too. A 42-floor building has only four lifts, and at busy check-in or checkout times the wait can reach 30 minutes, especially with luggage. The place looks good and is clean, but the facilities let it down. I hope management improves them, because the potential is there, but I wouldn't stay again. Facilities 👎👎, view and cleanliness 👍

The rooftop pool was a nice spot to unwind, and the gym had enough equipment for a decent workout. It's a good value service residence, with reasonable rates and a handy location near the airport for a short stay or transit. My room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. A smart TV would have been a nice addition, but the price felt fair for the comfort and facilities.

Check-in and checkout were smooth, and the studio was spacious with the basic amenities. Parking takes about five minutes because it's on level 7. The toilet drain was painfully slow, so I ended up showering in a pool of water, which wasn't pleasant. Before sunrise the car park was also very dark, with no lighting.

The adjoining hotel's breakfast buffet was sublime, and the coffee was amazing. Service was fast and attentive too. The rooms were fairly comfortable, but our three-bedroom apartment felt cramped for three co-workers, so one of us had to move to a separate unit. It seems better suited to two professionals or a family of three. The shower setup was a bit annoying: no physical threshold between the cubicle and the rest of the washroom, so it gets messy after a long shower. The bidet shower also surprised me, as I'm used to shower nozzles and push-handle systems. One other snag, the vending machines on the 13th floor don't take foreign cards, though the convenience store across the road did. All in all, a good stay so far.

The room was pleasant, but for what I paid it felt basic and not like great value. Some door handles kept coming off, which made the parts seem low quality. The location is near Queensbay mall, though it's farther from the city center and main tourist destinations. I booked the three-room suite for two nights. Breakfast at the Majorie hotel was really nice, with good service and a good selection. The room was clean and had a mini kitchen and washing machine. There was ample free parking, plus a small pool, fitness center, and game room. They're all basic, but appreciated.
