I've stayed at this hotel with my family before, but this time the staff weren't friendly or helpful. I asked to add a mattress and was told they didn't have enough staff to set it up. Why should I have to know about their staffing situation when I'm asking for a service? I was willing to pay for the mattress and any other add-ons. I'm really dissatisfied with how they treated customers.

Room 325 was spacious, the bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the air conditioning was cold. The toilet was large but the floor was slippery, and the shower pressure was weak. Cleanliness could be better, and the room felt dated. I stayed two nights on my recent Bintulu trip, once at the start and once at the end, and was given the same room on level 3 both times. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. There isn't a 7-11 nearby, though a few mini marts are within walking distance. It's okay for a few nights.

The room was big and the bed comfortable, but parking was a bit difficult and there was no parking for hotel guests. The toilet had no bidet, but okay, I could accept that. What I couldn't accept was being accused of taking a small face towel. I went back upstairs to check before checking out, and it was on the floor. They didn't even apologize. Did they think I wanted to steal their old towel? The day before, they entered and cleaned my room even though I hadn't put out the room-cleaning sign. Thank goodness I took my laptop with me. They charge RM99 a room, then seem to look for 'mistakes' so you'll have to pay more. Please don't stay here. There were termites in my room too, and the air conditioner was leaking. Maintain your hotel. I was lucky they didn't accuse me of trying to steal the air conditioner, haha. The cleaner couldn't even count the towels properly. Don't keep working there if you can't see clearly. Worst hotel ever. I'm never staying again.

The stay was comfortable and affordable. Staff were friendly and helpful whenever guests needed something, making it a convenient option for business or leisure in Bintulu.
