OYO 90375 Reggae Inn

I arrived with two reservations and had already paid, even though the booking said payment would be at the hotel. The receptionist could find only one booking ID. She said the other reservation had been rejected by the owner because the Agoda rate was too low. When I asked if I could book again through Agoda, she said it would be rejected again at the same rate and told us to book at the desk instead, where the price was 50% higher. I tried calling her to sort it out, but she didn’t know how to answer, or explain what had happened, and ended the call. I was shocked. She declined my next calls too, which felt rude and irresponsible, and showed no respect for customers. In the end, I cancelled both reservations with Agoda and asked for a refund.

The bed sheets and pillowcases looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The floor mat and bathroom were filthy, the bathroom door had no lock, furniture was broken, and there were leak stains on the ceiling. Even the air conditioner was dusty and dirty. I was also asked to pay extra before check-in, even though I’d paid in full through AGODA. The cheap price and pretty pictures posted by the owner on Google, OYO, and AGODA are misleading. I can’t say strongly enough how disgusting this place was. Don’t stay in this dump, it’s a complete hole.

The room felt poorly maintained: the floor seemed unswept, there were no towels because they said they’d run out, and the shower head leaked to the side when turned on. I booked through Agoda with a discount, but they wanted extra money to bring the price back up to the original rate. They shouldn’t use an online booking platform if they won’t honour its listed prices and deals. I won’t come back.

There was just one worker handling reception, housekeeping, and the other services. The room was very dirty, and the floor mat and bed didn’t seem to have been changed. Also, don’t book through Agoda, they’ll decline the booking and ask you to pay more. Just don’t stay here.
