We came back for a second stay at Sam Jade Guest House and had another great experience. The balcony scenery was beautiful and easy on the eyes, and it was lovely to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. The guest house feels calm and cozy, with a nice lobby garden swing and plenty of chairs and tables to relax or chat. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, and the bed made it easy to rest after a long day. The hot shower worked perfectly in the cool Cameron weather. The location in Brinchang is convenient for getting around, finding food and visiting popular spots. One small drawback: the single and queen rooms are on Levels 2 and 3, so you'll need to take the stairs, which can be tiring with luggage. Still, I enjoyed the stay and would happily return. It's good value, comfortable, and well located.

The location is a real plus: close to town, but tucked away enough to get some quiet. It's a decent no-frills place and the room was good. There wasn't a kettle, but there is a hot water dispenser in the common area. Check-in didn't suit me. They required a cash-only RM50 deposit, which meant a trip to the nearest ATM at Centrum for a cashless traveller like me. The RM3 tax also wasn't included in the booking price, and they asked to see my IC. I recommend the place, but I'm not sure I'd return. I prefer modern quick check-in, and most places I've stayed in Cameron offer deposit-free quick check-in and tax-inclusive bookings through Agoda.

The stay was okay for the price, but cleanliness could have been better. My kids found rubbish left under the bed, so it clearly hadn't been cleaned properly underneath.

For an affordable price in Cameron Highland, this is a pretty decent budget stay. I don't have much to complain about.

The morning view was nice, and the uncle was friendly. There's a fan but no air conditioning, though nights get freezing. Also, be ready to use the stairs to get to your room, since there's no elevator. Overall, a nice stay and I'd recommend it.
