Snooze Cameron Highlands

Self check-in and check-out were my favorite parts. Snooze Hotel is centrally located, with food options easy to reach, and the rates are affordable. My stay was enjoyable, and I'd consider coming back for the value. The room was clean, cozy, and furnished well enough to relax in after exploring the city. It covered the basics comfortably without pushing the budget. There are a lot of stairs, though, and no elevator. That could be hard if you have mobility concerns or heavy bags. The staff are friendly and willing to help, but the stairs are still something to consider when booking. If you're on a tight budget and don't mind the climb, it's a solid choice for its price and central location.

The self check-in didn't work, and I couldn't call the number listed for check-in. Luckily, a lovely woman helped us. The key card we got was for a room that was already occupied, with people's belongings inside. We waited over 20 minutes for that same woman to come back and call the guy to sort it out. Then we were told the hotel had double-booked us and had no rooms left. They put us in a hotel across the road instead, which wasn't what we had arranged or paid for.

The automatic self check-in machine was really convenient, and the hotel is in town, with food and hotpot easy to find. There's no lift, so you have to use the stairs, which isn't suitable for elderly guests. No parking is reserved for drivers either, so you need to park behind the hotel and pay for parking coupons. The room has a built-in water heater, but it takes at least five minutes for the water to heat up. Overall, not bad.

It feels a lot like being at home, and the price is reasonable with plenty of amenities. The staff were very helpful, and self check-in and check-out were super easy. The hard part is finding parking. Rooms start on levels 3 and 4, and there are no lifts.
