Hotel Paka INN

They kept construction going all day while I was staying there. Doing it between checkout and check-in would have been understandable, but this was the whole day. The staff and cleanliness were both just meh. For over 100 bucks, save your money and stay somewhere else. I’d give this place zero stars if I could, and would’ve asked for a refund. Take my advice, you’ve been warned.

It’s handy being in this location, which is why I’m giving it two stars. The price is above average, cleanliness is acceptable and better than most, but facilities are minimal and there’s almost no service. It seems to be run by one person, and sometimes you can’t find the ladyboss because she’s busy cleaning rooms.

RM150 a night for a tiny room with no amenities, just old, smelly soap and air conditioning that barely works. The price is way too high for a budget hotel. Auntie, why keep asking me for money when my company has already paid? You think I don’t have money? You’re so loud and show no respect for your customers. No wonder the hotel is always empty, emptier than my wallet.

The room was generally clean, and there are lots of restaurants, shops and a bank nearby. The beach is about 200 meters away. The location was excellent, though I wish the room had a cupboard and dressing table.
