The location put us right in the middle of a lively, beautiful neighbourhood, and our room had lovely wooden paneling. The house itself is full of charm and character. Emily (I think the manager's name?) was so sweet and friendly. In the Dining room, complimentary char keow teow, nasi lemak, banana cake, and other Georgetown delicacies were available around the clock. They were delicious, on par with the restaurants in town. This was probably my favourite hotel stay ever, with the warmth, real human interaction, and character I wish life had more of. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The morning prayers down the street were quite audible from our room, but only lasted 10 minutes, and we got back to sleep afterward.
