We were only waiting for the bus outside the hostel, so I can’t say what the rooms or breakfast are like. The woman who owns or runs reception welcomed us warmly, offered us a seat, and brought us tea and coffee. She also offered WiFi. That’s hospitality at its best.
The walls and floors are thin, so noise carries easily. The person at the front desk wasn’t very cheerful or helpful, either. The 80's guest house around the corner was a better stay.
The Chinese staff were extremely friendly, and the walls in this UNESCO heritage building have beautiful art. It’s very well located near Chulia Street, with bars, restaurants, and convenience stores close by.
Good coffee and food, friendly staff, and a cute cafe. The WiFi and power are decent too. What more do you need from a cafe?
Easy to find, near the main attractions, and the staff are friendly. :)
