We booked two rooms, but the awful smell made my daughter vomit. The staff were very rude and wouldn’t even listen to us about a refund or help us find two basic clean rooms.

The location is a real plus. Inside, though, the reception felt unwelcoming and a bit neglected, and the washrooms were cramped and uncomfortable. The hotel’s overall feel wasn’t welcoming either.

For a basic overnight stop, this place works. The heater was good and the AC was fantastic, but cleanliness could be better, and the towels had some stains even though they were clean. I’d stay again if I just needed somewhere to crash.

Getting to most tourist spots is easy from here, and the receptionists were helpful and very good. The rooms are somewhat gloomy and not very spacious. There’s no lift, so you’ll need to carry your bags up the stairs if you get an upper floor. They also don’t have their own parking, so you have to look for a roadside space.

The hotel had a bad smell all day, the rooms were dirty, and the bathroom wasn’t maintained. I didn’t feel safe there, and the place gave me negative vibes. One of the worst hotels in George Town.
