We found bed bugs around midnight on our second night, including more signs when we checked beneath the mattress. The WhatsApp contact offered to move us for the night, which was our only option, so we agreed. The next morning, reception wouldn't refund us or offer anything beyond a different room. We also saw that the room with the bugs hadn't been cleaned or treated, so I believe they were still there. Other people have posted bed bug complaints on Booking.com too. The room felt like a prison cell: filthy, with ants everywhere, mould, and peeling walls. It seemed like a serious health and safety issue. They wouldn't let us speak to a manager. Later, they agreed to move us to another branch. We accepted because everywhere else was full. They asked us to take down the review, but I won't. Staff at that branch were rude and blamed us for not finding the bugs sooner. Their apology in a later response feels ironic, since nobody apologized while we were there and they wouldn't let us talk to a manager. This ruined our trip to George Town. I don't trust this company.

The private rooms are fairly spacious and comfortable, but I couldn't sleep there because of all the noise. There are lots of inconsiderate guests, and the hotel doesn't seem to have quiet hours or ask people to keep the corridors down at night. With dorms in the hostel, drunk guests can come back around 3am making noise.

It was quiet and comfortable through the night, and the A/C worked well. I especially liked the pillows and duvet. Harvind helped me from the beginning to the end of my stay and made sure I had what I needed. Shoutout to him.

Getting around the area is convenient, and my room had a really cozy feel. The staff were respectful and very helpful. Finding your way around at night might be a little confusing, but it wasn't a problem.
