Antharas 1 Premier Suites Genting

The location is inconvenient, down at the base of the hill, and the drive to Genting resort takes 20-30 minutes each way. Coming back down at night feels dangerous. Since the hotel is new, many amenities aren't available yet: the gym is incomplete, and there's no restaurant, sauna, or recreation room. It felt more like a private Airbnb or homestay than a proper hotel. There's no room phone for the front desk, so you have to walk to the lobby or call on your own phone. The rooms are modern and newly furnished, with comfortable beds, but air conditioning is only in the master bedroom, not the second bedroom or living room. Be careful leaving toiletries by the sink, as housekeeping may take them without asking. I lost an item I needed and couldn't use it on the trip. The Wi-Fi barely worked.

The building is new and the facilities are quite good. The staff were nice, and when there was a problem with my room, they found me another one. We had a great holiday here. Ten out of ten.

Finding the place on Grab was tricky, so I had to search using the nearby “Ragdoll cafe”. Mr .Shazwan was kind and very accommodating in the lobby, and he answered all my questions clearly. I'd love to come back with my partner soon 😇
