The room A/C worked well, and there’s a mini market about 20m from the “hotel” for food and drinks. Still, this would only be my last choice if I couldn’t find any room or hotel in Gua Musang. It’s been converted into rooms, and everything is self-service, with communication handled through whatapps. If there’s an emergency, you may not be able to get help from any staff. The rooms are separated by partition boards instead of solid concrete walls, so you can hear the next room talking, people snoring at night, and doors opening and closing. It’s really annoying, so consider that if you’re a light sleeper. The toilet is a very small, basic wet bathroom, and the toilet bowl was ROSAK. There may also be cockroaches around. During my stay, a family with a few kids were very noisy, running around and screaming. No “Hotel” staff were there to ask them to keep it down. With all the noise, it felt like mental torture. There were also cats or rats running around above the room ceiling. You might hear scratching sounds and feel scared or horrified if you don’t know what’s making them. I attached some photos in case it’s hard to picture what the “Hotel” looks like. There was a very simple small desktop table, like one you can get from shopee/lazada for RM100+.

The owner was kind, and I got a good rest here before heading back to my hometown. It felt more like a hostel than a hotel since the bathroom was shared. Luckily, I was the only tenant renting a room yesterday. The room was roomy enough for two, and the bed was really comfy. They provided coway for drinking water. My concern was safety. The doors should have an extra lock, and the bathroom could smell better. Thanks to the owner.

They use a digital, non face-to-face setup. I booked this place with my family, and everything was clean. The living room fan didn't seem strong enough for such a large space, though both bedrooms had AC. It could use a little more touch up and upgrades, like an ironing kit. The price was affordable, so I can't ask for much more.

There’s no receptionist or other person there, and the toilet was in bad shape. Water pressure was very low, and there was no ventilation in the room. Be careful with this hotel. They sent their policy through whatsapp, but it wasn't shown during booking. I received that message at 6.47pm, and they still wouldn't refund me after 2pm under their dumb policy. It felt like a conman hotel. The worst hotel or motel. Better book somewhere nearby.

The location was okay, but that was about it. I spent the night sharing the room with a tiny rat and trying to sleep through the noisy water pump system beside the rooms. The toilet smelled, and the rubbish bin out back hadn't been cleared. No wonder there were tikus. First and last 🙏
