I stayed one night in ground floor Room 17 on May 1st 2022. The place felt really secluded, and even though the Wi-Fi was fast, I couldn’t access a lot of websites or apps. The air-condition remote in my room was broken, so I couldn’t turn it off or adjust the temperature. My friend in Room 18 had a different problem, cockroaches in the toilet, and the room was old and dirty. I’d treat this as a last option if hotels and homestays are all booked. For Malaysian Chinese guests, I wouldn’t recommend it, as the location and food didn’t feel friendly. There’s a Mamak store opposite, but the food was horrible and tasteless. People seemed to go there just for Indian Mixed Rice, and the fried chicken seemed okay. Apart from that, it’s a big no for food. There’s no parking, or you could risk parking opposite at the small shopping mall, which has free parking.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had. I booked three rooms through booking.com yesterday, then a few hours later the receptionist called and rudely told me to cancel one, the triple bedded room. When I asked why, he again spoke rudely and said they give priority to walk-in cash customers, as if they don’t trust online booking agents. We arrived with an infant and the service felt inhuman. The hotel management is really bad.

The room had no towel, but otherwise everything was good. The bed was good, the toilet was in good condition, the water heater worked, and the air-conditioning was fine. Very good service, I’d stay here again in future.

The room was dirty, the aircon didn’t cool, and the TV had no sound. The price was RM90 for deluxe, 105 for double singer. Never coming back.

I told them my ETA twice, but still had to wait 15 minutes for the room to be ready. The towel was half wet, they should’ve dried it first. Booking through agoda was much cheaper than walking in.
