This place suits people who want a no-fuss stay, with basic necessities in the rooms. The price is pretty cheap for the location, so don’t expect too much. You can park on the street right outside the main entrance, and lots of famous restaurants and food spots are just behind the hotel. Light sleepers should avoid street-facing rooms, though earplugs are provided in those rooms. It’s not a good choice for elderly guests or anyone with trouble climbing, since you have to go up two flights of stairs to reach level 1.

The room was tiny, but clean and tidy, and worked for a night’s sleep right in the center of Ipoh. I met a very friendly guy who introduced himself as the manager.

The food is good, with great vegetarian and vegan choices. The three generations of ladies here are super nice. They found out we were from the Netherlands and told us about their recent visit to our country. It’s close to Mural Art's Lane, so the two are easy to combine. Come for breakfast or lunch, you won’t regret it!

The food was tasty and portions were just right for the price and quality. My son is a picky eater, but he finished his meal. Service was friendly and everything was clean. There are two customer parking spots. The homemade "Numbing spicy noodles" are a recommended dish. This is a non-halal restaurant, decorated beautifully with antiques like old telephones, a sewing machine, and oil lamps. Local pastries and biscuits are only a few shops away if you want souvenirs before leaving Ipoh. Good place for family and friends.

The curry mee and wan tan mee were both delicious when I went for lunch with friends. Everyone was friendly, and they gave us a quick explanation of the menu before we ordered. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I’d go again.
