Crescendo Boutique Hotel

The place may be new, but it’s badly managed. Our room wasn’t properly clean when we checked in, and over two nights nobody came to do housekeeping. The towels weren’t changed and the soap wasn’t replaced. For another RM20, find a better hotel. Don’t waste your time or money here.

We got in late with our two kids and just needed somewhere to sleep. I booked on Agoda about 10 minutes before we arrived, and check-in was easy. The receptionist was attentive, there was plenty of parking, and we found a space right by the entrance. The room and twin beds were small but enough for the four of us to sleep comfortably. The AC worked well, and the bathroom was roomy, with a good shower, hot water, towels, and shower gel. The in-room Wi-Fi was a surprise, very stable and fast at 35-40 Mbps. There are lots of amenities nearby, and Restoran Amin is a one-minute walk across the road for breakfast. There are more food options at night too. For under RM90, we were satisfied. A couple of small things could be better. There was a baby cockroach by the headboard, which we caught and threw away. Cleanliness was okay, but could improve. The TV channels were limited and unstable, though we didn’t mind with the fast Wi-Fi. The shared iron is out in the corridor, but we didn’t use it.

There’s plenty of parking at this newly developed centre. Food stalls, restaurants, cafes, mini markets, and even a car service shop are nearby. On a weekday, I found a single room for under RM80, with an extra discount for a longer stay.

I checked out in under eight hours. The room was tiny, with the bed frame right by the window, and the dusty sheets made me itchy when I lay down. Cleanliness needs a lot of work. It wasn’t worth the price.
