There were fruit flies in the room as soon as I arrived. I counted eight that I killed, despite not bringing any food in, and I have no idea where they came from. Worse, there were bed bugs. I woke up itchy, with red spots on my legs and midsection. At around RM80 a night, I expected much better, and luckily I was there for only one night. I was given a windowless room, which felt dark and musty. After reading the comments here, I hadn’t realized guests could choose between rooms with and without windows. The bed was noisy, though I’m not sure if that was intentional. The air conditioning blowing straight at the bed made things very dry while I tried to sleep, and the thin walls let me hear footsteps and people knocking on things. The black bathroom tiles made the toilet feel claustrophobic. It wasn’t very clean either: the taps and faucets were stained, there was dirt in tight spaces, and the faucets turned when I tried to turn them on.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, but the cleanliness was poor. The sheets had hairs all over them, there were large stains on the queen bed, and the toilet bowl hadn’t been scrubbed before check-in.

The room was clean and affordable, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, but there’s a small convenience store and a coin laundry next door. You can find food too, though you’ll need to walk a bit.

A budget hotel in a great location, with a well-furnished room that has a fridge and safe. Breakfast at Paparich was the best part. Awesome.

I booked a smoking room but was given a non-smoking one. If that option isn’t available, the hotel shouldn’t list smoking preferences in its app or on the website. It gave false hope, which is rubbish.
