OYO 90273 Mz Hotel

We left after one night even though we’d booked two, and found another hotel. One room had no TV, cockroaches, and a ceiling leak dripping onto the bed. The other was worse, with no Wi-Fi access. Neither room was soundproof, and people were still talking at midnight. We booked two rooms for two days. Housekeeping was poor, and the receptionist service was bad. Not recommended, not even worth a full star.

We only booked this place to sleep because my wife and I were too tired to drive back to johor. Agoda showed RM24, but at the counter they said the offer wasn’t valid anymore and asked for an extra RM34. I don’t know whether it was a scam.

I called first to ask whether this was a non-smoking hotel, and customer service said it was. But when we arrived, a staff member was smoking by the lobby door, and the cigarette smell continued through the lobby and up the stairs. The room was worse: no windows, mouldy walls, and a smell of cigarette residue, with a dirty ashtray inside. Highly not recommended.

The hot shower was really good, and the price seemed fair for somewhere just to sleep. Then we found a cockroach in the hotel room. Yikes.
