1 Million Hotel

We slept well even though the bed and pillows weren’t especially firm, and the aircon cooled the room fast. It was clean, roomy, simply furnished, and had the basic amenities. Ask reception if you want disposable slippers. We picked this hotel for one night while checking out Mt Austin, and it was handy for the places we wanted to visit. The room was decent, and from level 2 we could walk to most cafes and places to eat. But I was disappointed to notice someone smoking in a room that was meant to be non-smoking. On our last day, we also smelled cigarette smoke coming from the utility room while checking out. I hope management takes the no-smoking policy in the rooms seriously and acts on it. We stayed at 1 million hotel two weeks ago.

The counter staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and practical. The aircon and fridge were cold enough, and the instant shower heater got hot enough too. I really like this hotel and would stay here again.

The clothes hangers were locked together in a stack, so they weren’t useful. Apart from that, our Family Premier King room was relatively clean, and both the woman, Lily, and the man at the front desk were helpful. There’s ample parking right outside, and 1 Million Hotel is within walking distance of both the new and old Austin areas.
