Cube 8teens Boutique Suite by Nest Home

Cockroaches were flying around the Airbnb while I was staying there, which was really unsettling. I contacted the host several times by message and phone, but got no reply. My friends and I ended up booking a hotel at the last minute, adding unexpected cost and stress to the trip. Pests are bad enough, and the host's silence and lack of maintenance made the stay very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend it.

The living room lighting could be better, but otherwise it wasn't bad and would suit a family. Getting from the parking area to the Airbnb is a long walk, so be prepared to carry your luggage and bags.

The view was wide open, and the place was really clean when we stayed Thursday night. They provided towels, bath foam, and shampoo, and I'd stay here again. I did spot a small cockroach before checkout, but it was a minor issue and the place still seemed very clean. The security guards were really nice, despite the concerns in other reviews. The car park is very narrow, so bigger cars should take care.

The room was a fair size for the price, and shops and good places to eat were within walking distance, with the walk providing some exercise. Water pressure was good at the shower, sink, and toilet, and the hot water worked. Sound insulation facing the main road was reasonable, though the room gets eastern sun. Towels seemed reasonably new, but changing them costs RM 10, so bring your own slippers for the shower. The bed's headboard faces the AC, so the cold air doesn't blow straight into your face. I requested toilet rolls once and the response was quick.
