Mr Faris at Reception, in the purple uniform top, was especially welcoming. He kept smiling, helped beyond what was needed, and made guests feel at home. The other staff were friendly too. I hope management sees this, because he deserves a promotion and there should be more staff like him. God bless you, Mr Faris! The room was clean and spacious, and the food was good. Great hotel.

I had a really bad stay. There were cockroaches, the shower head was nearly broken, and the upkeep was poor. We got a key card that didn’t work; when I asked about it, the staff member said I must have taken the wrong one from the room, even though she had handed it to me. There were no slippers or extra towels, either. For a place rated four stars, this standard isn’t acceptable. It felt closer to two stars.

We didn’t check out so much as escape. The bathroom looked long overdue for cleaning, with what seemed like a whole colony of cockroaches. There were strange liquid stains on the sofa, and the table looked like it had been rescued from a landfill in a storm. We asked for a refund and were turned down, so apparently the nightmare came at full price. Go here if you want to lose your appetite or if you’re fond of cockroaches.

May 18, 2025 is my last night here before the big renovation starts. I’m glad I got to stay at this lovely place beforehand. The room has been cozy, spacious, and comfortable, and I’m looking forward to seeing it refreshed.
