Hotel S Bee by NIDA Rooms

The pillow in the cupboard was so stained it gave off a strange smell when I opened the door. There were other odd details too, like a salon pas on the wall and a weird lift button. The king-size mattress was on top, but underneath it seemed to have support from two single beds. I could already feel the springs in the bed. We were lucky to stay just one night. Management really needs to refresh these things. What’s the point of changing the name if the inside is still due for an update?

I appreciated how kind they were to the stray cats, though I’d suggest keeping the cats out on the street. I’m allergic to fur and couldn’t stop sneezing. The room was clean enough, but dusty, and at least there wasn’t a strange smell. The wallpaper and langsir were coming away from the walls. There was hot water, but the piping wasn’t fitted properly, so water went everywhere instead of coming through the shower head and made it hard to shower.

The bed was comfortable, the shower pressure was good, and the towels were clean. The price was reasonable and the hotel is near a mall. But after two nights, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone sensitive to smells or cleanliness. Our rooms smelled smoky and even had ashtrays, though smoking should be outside in an enclosed hotel. The lobby smelled of cats. I’m not against having them there, but the area should be kept clean and odor-free. The rooms were dusty and one bulb was fused. I asked for two rooms with windows, but one had none. When I requested a change, they gave me a room with twin beds instead. I wish the place were cleaner so guests would want to return. For us, it was a one-hit stay.

The rooms and parking area were dirty, and the surroundings got very noisy at night. All of that needs attention.
