The TV worked well, with a strong signal for Singapore channels, much better than at other nearby hotels. My room had no windows, so it felt a bit dim, and there was a slight stench when I first entered. I couldn’t quite identify it, but I got used to it. At check-in I could choose between the first floor and an upper floor. The remotes for the TV and air conditioning came in a ziplocked bag, and there was supposed to be a card with the Wifi password behind it. For the price, I’d give the place five stars. I didn’t find stained sheets or pillows like some other reviewers mentioned.

The bedding was stained, the bathroom was disgusting, and the room smelled of smoke. It felt worse than a jail cell, and I’m thankful I brought my own flip flows. At least I’m only staying one night before crossing the boarder tomorrow. Someone must have lied in these reviews.

They charged RM98, but gave us a smaller room with a smaller bed. When we brought it up, they said the hotel was full and couldn’t move us. The room was a bit old, but fine for sleeping. The free instant coffee was bad, and the air conditioning wasn’t cold enough.

Things were otherwise good, but the cleaning staff need to improve how they treat customers. The staff member knocked, said to check out and go to the counter, and was disrespectful. I also came back to my room and found that my drink was gone. That day I went out ungetly and told the counter that the counter was empty.
