Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall

The room was huge and the shower had great water pressure. We were on a lower floor, with a rooftop view of the lower buildings, but still had a perfect stay. Breakfast was nice, especially the traditional nasi lemak. There was a gym and swimming pool too.

Afiqah was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay, and Najmi deserves a mention for the delicious popcorn in the lobby. The service really stood out. My room was spacious, modern, clean, and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, with direct access to Paradigm Mall. I had a fantastic time at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru Paradigm Mall, highly recommend it, and would definitely stay again.

Mr Nagelan made a real difference to our stay. The tall Indian security manager explained how parking worked and suggested some nice places for my family and me to visit over the holidays. I’d never had a security manager in Malaysia welcome us so firmly yet respectfully. The room wasn’t ready as quickly as we expected at Hyatt Place Johor Bahru, but the security team and front desk staff were so professional and kind that it made up for the wait. I usually find it hard to communicate when foreign security guards approach guests, so I was impressed when the person in charge met us in the lobby and patiently answered my questions. We had a very good stay and I’ll be back with my in-laws and family.

The room was clean and spacious, and breakfast was a highlight thanks to Mr. Rastam and Ms. Yogamalar, who really went out of their way to make it a good experience. There were kids’ utensils and a little children’s food section, which helped a lot with our baby. The hotel also had a baby cot and bathtub, though both depend on availability. We had an easy check-in, friendly and helpful staff, and could leave our luggage before check-in or after check-out, which gave us more flexibility. One concern for families: even an advance request doesn’t guarantee a cot, which can be stressful when travelling with a baby. We also had to move our things quickly after crows came back to the pool area. One took the ziplock bag of baby biscuits from our stroller and flew off with it, then the birds kept trying to grab other belongings. The hotel should look into managing the crows. Still, we had a pleasant family stay at Hyatt Place Paradigm Mall.
