Ray and the housekeeping team at Marina View Resort made my stay feel calm and comfortable. The room was carefully prepared each day, with clean, neatly arranged linens and a fresh scent. Everything looked spotless. Ray was warm and courteous whenever I saw him, and clearly takes pride in his work. The team worked together smoothly, with a cheerful attitude and careful attention to the room. Their consistent effort adds a lot to the resort’s peaceful atmosphere. I’m grateful to Ray and the housekeeping staff for making the room such a comfortable place to return to. Their work made the stay memorable, and I’d happily come back knowing the same care is there.

The room is good, but the service falls short, especially for what they charge. For example, hand wash costs hardly 5RM, yet they keep diluting it with water and using the same supply for months. That’s not what I’d expect at a resort. Can’t they afford to provide proper hand wash and tissue?

I came to JB for work and booked this for one night. It turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The place was huge, clean, spacious, and pretty quiet. There were 3 rooms for our group of 3, and 2 to 3 swimming pools. From the 11th floor, we had a great view of the sea and Singapore. I’d be happy to stay here again next time.

From the sea-facing side, you can see Singapore at night, and the room itself was okay. It has a balcony, kitchen, living hall, and space for 5 people, with 3 toilets: one in the master room, one in the shared room, and another by the living hall. It seems better suited to a group. I was on a business trip and wanted to enjoy the bath tub, but being in the outside room alone felt scary, haha, can you imagine ☺️. There’s visitors parking in the building, while resident parking is on B1 and 2. Usually B1 isn’t full. For food within walking distance there isn’t much choice. There’s a restaurant outside the hotel, but I didn’t go in because it felt like it was inside the jungle. Across from AEON permas jaya there was quite a lot of food, plus lok Lok, mamak, and burgers at night. In the morning, not many shops are open apart from places like KK, CU, and 7-11 across from AEON. AEON opens at 10am~~.
