WF Hotel

The room was clean and comfortable, with what I needed for a short visit. The staff were warm and friendly, and the location made it easy to get around. A nice, simple place to rest.

The room was in poor shape and didn’t feel clean. The walls had yellow stains, the pillow smelled bad, and the whole place felt neglected. I’d booked a non-smoking room, but it stank of cigarette smoke. The window faced the back, where foreign staff members were smoking, and the smell kept coming in. Noise from people walking and shouting in the hall at night also made it hard to sleep. Things started badly at the counter. The staff member was rude and unhelpful, and asked for a RM50 cash deposit without telling us in advance. We weren’t prepared, and when we explained we didn’t have cash, the response was poor. The service and room quality made this a stay I don’t want to repeat, and I wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

The front desk staff were nice and friendly, but I wouldn’t come back, even with the low prices. This place used to be good and has gone downhill. The rooms aren’t maintained well, and there was a strong smoke smell despite the no-smoking policy. The aircon leaked and never got cold, so it was a rough night trying to sleep.

The first-floor room was terrible, with cigarette smoke coming in because people were smoking right outside the window. Luckily, a helpful and friendly staff member moved us upstairs. The room on the second level was good.
