There’s a mini supermarket and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaves in the building, plus a permanent pasar malam downstairs on weekends. A hospital and mall are next door, with petrol stations and the expressway nearby. The breakfast place on level 1 is small, around 20 people, and two women handled cooking, serving, cleaning, and perhaps room deliveries for guests who asked. The Family Supreme Room was affordable and had two spacious rooms, three queen beds, two toilets with water heaters, and basic furnishings: a two-seater sofa, four-seater dining table, TV, kettle, ironing board, and hairdryer. The tiles can get slippery when wet. Check-in was easy through an iPad, but you can only enter after 2pm. There’s no hotel lobby, and the building has other businesses, including a hotel with a similar name under different management, so check the counter carefully. After checking in, I got a WhatsApp link with the room passcode. The doors are digital, so there are no room cards.

The affordable rate felt like good value for the comfort and service. Shops and places to eat surround Bangi Perdana Hotel, so finding food and essentials was easy. My room was clean, comfortable, well kept, and had the basics I needed. It was calm and welcoming, and I rested well. I’d recommend it for either a work trip or a holiday, and I’d come back.

The room was cozy and comfortable, and checking in on the ground floor tablet was hassle-free. Bangi Gateway Shopping Complex is literally next door, as is the specialist hospital. There’s no free gym or pool, and parking costs about Rm8 a day. Still, it worked well for a basic room.

There was a night market below, but the area still felt abandoned somehow, even with people around. The room was awful. I saw a cockroach near the doorway as soon as we entered, then killed about 6-7 more during our eight hours there. One was crawling on the bed cover. They were small compared with the ones I’ve seen in India. The sink had no drain, just a large hole, and our soap fell straight into it. Maybe the insects came from there, though some were tiny enough to have come from anywhere. With self check-in and little room service or housekeeping for most of the day, guests may be left stuck in those conditions. I wouldn’t recommend it. Almost forgot, there’s a sign offering a small “rebate” for a 5 star review, so the decent reviews may be paid. Ridiculous place.

There were six of us, and after traveling from Johor we arrived at 2.30pm, only to find the room still wasn't ready. We finally checked in at 3pm, even though check-in time is 2pm. Then there was no water. Management said to wait 2 to 3 hours, but at 7pm there was still none. We went for dinner, returned at midnight, and still had no water. In the morning, at 7am, I contacted management and asked for water in a bucket. We only received mineral water at 11am. The bathroom wasn't clean, the curtain wouldn't close all the way, and the place needs a lot of maintenance. Very bad service, the worst hotel I've stayed in. Please read the reviews before booking.
