Orkid Inn Kajang

Everything was clean and fine in the family room I stayed in before, except the bathroom was too high for my elderly mother. The staff member Ikie did a great job. She explained one by one what was interesting nearby when I asked, and gave us a first-floor room with my mother’s condition in mind. She was friendly and always smiling. Keep it up, Ikie 😊😊

There were cockroaches in the room, and the photos show it. The air conditioner also wouldn’t cool properly. I set it to 16 and waited three hours, but the room still didn’t reach that temperature. When I complained, the counter attendant said it was normal and seemed to deny that the room wasn’t cold. He kept asking whether I’d actually set the remote to cool.

It’s convenient to find places to eat around here, but 100 yuan per night feels a bit expensive. I also haven’t received any offers for staying a few extra nights.

Our room was really spacious, with one single bed and one queen bed. The sheets, blankets, and pillowcases were neat and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful too. Good job, iki. It’s an old hotel with no elevator and lots of stairs. As I mentioned, you have to go up stairs to reach the toilet, so it may not suit anyone with knee pain.
