Hotel Jeti Tg Gemok

We stayed one night to rest before heading to Tioman, and the hotel is very close to the Tg. Gemok jetty. But I killed more than 20 cockroaches that night. The room was full of them. Thank goodness they had cockroach spray. Since the floors and furniture are wooden, we assumed the other rooms would be similar and didn’t ask to move. The hotel PIC should do a better job of keeping the place in good condition.

We paid an extra MYR 23 for a room with a window, which was only available in a King room. There were tiny ants everywhere, so we kept our belongings off the floor and away from spots where we saw them. The location is handy, with places to eat and a supermarket nearby. On Thursday nights, there’s a market next door with a huge range of food and other items.

Handy for an overnight stay before the Tioman ferry. The hotel was clean and well kept, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. There are windowless interior rooms too. Toilet and soap/shampoo were provided, and parking is on the street.

The receptionist was friendly, and check-in and check-out were easy. Both the room and bathroom were clean. We rested well before setting off early for Tioman the next day.
