History Hotel

The room itself was nice and clean, with a clean blanket and bedsheet. I only have two requests for improvement: the water pressure is too slow, and there aren’t any toiletries, not even soap.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Otherwise it was good, but the road noise was really loud. I’d asked before check-in if I could have a room on the other side of the hotel and was told no, since all the budget rooms face the road. Still, I can’t imagine the hotel was especially busy.

The room was larger than a typical room for three, and it was clean. The stairway leading up could use better cleaning, and there’s no lift. We had to ask for two more towels because only one was in the room we booked for three, though I think that was an honest mistake. There was no soap, shampoo, or bottled water. They do sell refrigerated water at the counter, and there’s a water dispenser, which I didn’t use.

The rooms are basic and the Wi-Fi wasn’t great, but the staff were kind and helpful. It’s a handy spot for the bus stop, with plenty of stalls, restaurants, and a launderette nearby, plus a Mixue and KFC.
