The owners were friendly, and the location is excellent, with plenty of parking and food, shops, and a supermarket within walking distance. I booked through booking.com, which cost about RM10 more than booking directly because of the commission. They encouraged guests to call the hotel instead. It’s an old, inexpensive place with old furniture, but it was surprisingly clean and everything worked. That old-fashioned feel made the stay quite comfortable. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and there was a ceiling fan. I chose a small room, so the bathroom was cramped, but the water pressure was good. The shower heater is decades old and still works. There’s a water dispenser and some eating utensils in the pantry. Towels and a bar of soap are provided, but not toothbrushes or toothpaste, which is understandable at this price. Basic amenities, good enough for a simple stay.

New Budget Inn Hotel was a really good stay for me. The room was spotless, comfortable, and ready for us, with a quality I don’t often find at this price. Staff were attentive and welcoming, and service felt first-class. The location works well for business or leisure, with a shop open 24 hours right in front of the hotel. One of my best stays, and I’d recommend it for comfort and value.

The receptionist was quite friendly, and the customer service was good. It’s a cheap, clean, comfortable place, so I had a great experience overall. The bathroom could use some work on its decor, though I’m not talking about cleanliness. The Inn is in a shophouse on a street corner, conveniently near town and a short walk from a big mosque. Rooms have air conditioning, a TV, and a hot shower. There’s a water cooler for guests to use. No iron is provided, so bring your own if you need one.

The toilet was awful. I closed my eyes when I went in because of how miserable it looked and smelled. Even thinking about it now makes me feel like throwing up. The location is nice, the reception staff are helpful and pleasant, and the room is fairly spacious for a cheap price.
