The homestay has two bedrooms with two queen beds, a sofa bed in the living room, and one toilet. It’s comfortable, with two air conditioners, one in a bedroom and one in the living room, plus a shower heater, microwave, refrigerator, unifi, and njoi. The building has a pool, but you need to book it and follow the schedule. Parking is tricky because space is limited, so you need to be a skilled driver. The toilet is inside the room, which can feel a little uncomfortable for a couple with a third wheeler.

It’s a comfortable, well-equipped apartment with luxurious furniture. The toilet did gross me out a bit, though.

We booked the apartment through Agoda, but when we arrived, the owner didn’t answer our calls, so we couldn’t check in despite travelling from far away. It was an especially bad time for that to happen because Kelantan International Bike week was on, with many riders in Kota Bahru, and most hotels and homestays were full. The owner never replied to our calls or WhatsApp messages. My worst experience.
