Hotel O Rayyan Soffea Managed by Oravel

We had booked and paid for 6 rooms, but when we arrived at 11pm, only 4 were available. The other 2 had been cancelled without telling us, and we were told to contact the booking platform. Some of us ended up sharing rooms, with a blanket on the floor and no mattress provided. There was no water dispenser or drinking water, and the vending machine was out of order. A hot water kettle was available, but there was no proper tap to fill it. Worst of all, the water was light brown, as if contaminated. The whole experience was terrible.

We gave it 5 stars for the value. We were on a business trip and just needed a comfortable room to rest, and the rooms were clean enough. A new biryani restaurant has opened in the hotel and serves good food, so we didn't need to go out looking for dinner. Parking is limited, though. A good budget-friendly hotel overall.

I cancelled right away. I booked through Agoda, but by 5pm the room still wasn't ready for check-in, and the staff weren't friendly. To anyone visiting, don't book this awful hotel.

I paid in full for a booking through Trip.com and tried calling five times to let them know I’d be checking in late, but nobody answered. I also sent a message through Trip.com and got no reply. When I arrived to check in at 9.00pm today, reception told me my booking had been cancelled. The owner was there, but both the owner and staff had a bad attitude and gave no explanation.
