In room 309 the bathroom water pressure was very good, but the mirror hadn’t been cleaned properly, the room was dusty, and the fan remote didn’t work. Cleanliness shouldn’t be compromised just because the price is reasonable, and I hope management takes prompt action to keep the hotel maintained in support of Visit Malaysia 2026. The location in Kota Bharu is strategic, and it’s an affordable choice if that’s what you’re looking for.

I’m exhausted tonight, so I’ll keep this shorter than the long review I lost when I refreshed the browser. After checking into room 413, I found a sticky floor and a sticky wall-mounted table with food bits on it. There was white residue on the faucet, brown buildup around the top of the toilet bowl, and black or brown mold in every corner of the shower walls. The shower head was rusty-looking and brownish. The bedsheets and pillowcases seemed fine, and I think they had been replaced with clean ones. The toilet was the worst part for me. Its walls looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for ages, and I felt seriously disgusted. I booked two nights, but I can overlook some other things, not the toilet. I was thinking of using the nearby shopping mall toilet tomorrow or finding another hotel. Guests seem to have been raising the same cleanliness concerns for a while, so management should look into this seriously and make sure the cleaning team is taught how to clean the rooms properly. I told the nice lady at reception about the conditions and decided to check out because I really needed a better room that night.

KB Mall is right next door, which makes the location great. The room was spacious enough, the bathroom was clean, the WiFi was fast, and there’s a lift. Parking is the one problem, especially at peak times.

It’s next to KB Mall, so the location is pretty strategic, and it’s good value for a night or two. The room could have been cleaner, but it was still okay overall.
