I was there for five days on business, and it was a decent stay, though there were a few snags. The staff were polite and helpful, and the room was generally comfortable. The bed was good, Wi-Fi stayed stable, and the air-conditioning worked well, which matters in Kota Kinabalu's weather. Housekeeping regularly replenished the water bottles and basic amenities. The first room had no air-conditioning and no power, but after I told staff, they changed it fairly quickly and the replacement worked properly. In the last few days, the bathroom phone rang every evening at exactly the same AM time. I was busy in the mornings and didn't report it until the final day. Staff checked but couldn't find a problem. It was odd and a little disturbing, though it didn't get worse. The towels were worn, and the floor didn't always feel properly cleaned. With better maintenance and housekeeping checks, the hotel could improve. Overall, I found it reasonably comfortable despite the inconveniences.
