The pool looks out over the ocean and nearby islands, and you can get a close view of planes taking off and landing. There are other facilities upstairs, including a gym and bar. Shops on the ground floor include a souvenir shop and a 24-hour self-service laundry. Parking isn't a flat rate, though the cost isn't excessive or burdensome. Check the owner's and management's terms and conditions before renting.
JQ is short for Jesselton Quay, a central spot near the cargo and cruise ship harbour. It has two rental towers, Citypads Tower 1 and 2, plus lots of restaurants, including Korean, Hong Kong, and Chinese options, and a convenience shop. GRAB is easy to get, and Suria Shopping Mall is nearby.

It's frustrating how long management takes to respond. Messages can sit read for days without a follow-up. My tenant also asked for the latest water bill on WhatsApp, and still hadn't heard back days later. It's also become unnecessarily hard to check unpaid management fees, fire insurance, and other balances. They introduced a new third-party payment website without proper notice. The only announcement was on WhatsApp Stories, which disappear and are easy to miss. I missed the update and may get charged a late fee. Owners shouldn't have to keep checking Stories for important news. At minimum, send a proper text message.
