The room was clean and had good facilities. My only concern was that the water was unreliable at times.

The location is great, but the apartment feels a little run-down. Cars and bikes revving along the street made it noisy at night.

Being right in the middle of the city is convenient, but I wasn’t happy with the condo itself. It smelled unpleasant and wasn’t clean, and the furniture looked old and worn. The kitchen appliances were mostly dirty, too. In one bedroom, the air conditioner shut off every hour, and its remote didn’t work. I hope the host improves the condition of the place.

The building is easy to recognize, a pink one in the middle of Kota Kinabalu. Marina Court sits between Promenade Hotel and Center Point Sabah shopping mall, which draws plenty of local shoppers and families on weekends. The location is right in the city center, with banks, shops, Malay restaurants, inexpensive seafood and grilled chicken wing stalls, fruit stands, and a night market all around.

The place didn’t look like the photos. It was dirty, everything inside was broken, and there was no Wi-Fi. The main door was broken too.
