We came with the whole family, and the kids loved being able to run and play freely in the large yard. It's fully gated, so we didn't have to worry. The place is close to the beach and has a stage, meeting room, hall, and plenty of outdoor space, so it works well for gatherings, occasions, or sports. The hospitality was wonderful, and Hj. Jaafar and his wife served us fresh seafood. Thanks so much, we'll definitely come again!

We paid too much for the room we got, and there wasn't much water in the bathroom. The road to the homestay is in really bad shape, and it's a long way from the road into town. If you're searching for a homestay, I'd look for somewhere with an easier route into town and more facilities nearby.

There was no water heater, and bathing meant using a bucket since there was no shower. The blanket was very thin, and the ceiling fan didn't work. Fine if you just need somewhere to sleep, but I wouldn't recommend it for a vacation. 😭😢
