The river and bridge nearby were lovely to look at, and you can climb the hill for a view of Kinobalu, with some interesting facts posted along the way. We also spent time on the patio, which is a nice place to hang out and has pretty lights at night. There are plenty of hammocks for relaxing too. I came to Flintstone Lodge with two friends, and we all had a great stay. The owner welcomed us warmly, replied quickly, and was kind and accommodating. They even made us some tasty snacks. Our rooms had lots of space, and the secluded setting let us unwind and enjoy nature. The owner is planning to add more structures and make the place even better. Thanks to the owners for making us feel so welcome. I'd recommend it to anyone after a relaxing getaway, and I'd come back.

Hi @Hiroki KAJITANI, I visited the site a few days ago, and it does exist. Unfortunately, reservations are still closed while renovation work is underway. I'm sorry your first experience there was unpleasant. Maybe they forgot to update the online booking platform, which could have caused what happened. Wishing you all the best.

The room and bathroom were excellent, with clean toilets and showers, hot water, and a fan in the room. The owner was so kind and hospitable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make good food. It's a great big kitchen. We spent seven nights here in the jungle, enjoying the quiet and nature. Most days were for yoga, cooking, swimming, reading, and just taking it easy. There's a supermarket and greengrocer about a 25-minute walk away. Beyond that, you'll need a car or scooter to get around. We took a taxi from KK for 90 RM, then the owner kindly drove us to the bus stop when we left to catch the bus to Sandakan.
