Putatan Platinum Hotel

The staff who checked me in were nice and polite. The hotel isn't bad, and I'd stay again because it's close to KKIA and really convenient. There are still things that need attention, though: messages weren't passed properly to the next shift, so the handover process needs to be followed much more strictly. The room amenities should also be improved. Hotel Manager or Room Division Manager, please take these issues seriously.

For the Deluxe King Room, I'd give the room 6/10. The aircond and water heater worked well, and the TV was 28++ inches, okay for watching something to pass the time. The bed was big enough for two adults. Service gets 8/10. We arrived at 10:30 p.m. and staff still greeted us warmly. Check-in went smoothly, though there's a Rm50 deposit. Location is 4/10. If it's your first visit, use a map because the road can be confusing. You have to drive down a small roadway with cars parked alongside it. The hotel is beside some apartment buildings, and there's plenty of parking if you're worried about your car.

There was only one bath soap for the two of us, which I couldn't accept. I called to ask for more, but staff said one per room was the procedure. That's ridiculous. Do they expect every room to have only one person? This needs to improve. The room was spacious, but it wasn't very clean, though still acceptable. The view faced the apartment, so opening the curtains meant less privacy. It was also quite noisy at night when we were trying to sleep.

Good service, and the room had nice furniture, a working air conditioner, and was clean. There was a nice two-bed setup in one room, plus a toilet and bathroom. A chair and table were handy for a coffee break.
