The rooms are clean and comfortable, and every one has its own ensuite toilet. The upstairs room on the second floor has a sea view to wake up to. There's a pool on the first floor, which you don't see often, plus a spacious living area and a pool table on the ground floor. It's on a hill, so you'll need to arrange your own transport by Uber or Grab. Definitely one of the area's more luxurious BnBs, and very good value.

I've stayed at plenty of hotels and homestays, and at 38 this is the first time I've written a bad review. I couldn't hold back this time. They charge a cleaning fee but still expect guests to clean everything up. If that's the arrangement, they shouldn't rent out the homestay or charge that fee. During our rental, the owner was working on the second floor. How is that private for paying guests, especially when visitors aren't allowed? If no visitors are allowed, then this homestay is purely for staying in, yet the owner could enter during our rental period. The tatami was so thin that I had back pain the next day. They charged extra for nine people but provided only four rooms, so where were we supposed to sleep? We were also told the sofa couldn't be used for sleeping. There was a mite on the ground-floor bed.
