It's a very basic place, and the photos online look much nicer than the real thing. The air conditioning only runs from 21:00 to 09:00. Our bed sagged in the middle, the bathrooms smelled all day, and breakfast was just coffee, white bread, and margarine.

The lodge could use an upgrade, but it's clean and homey, and the location is good. A budget-friendly place to stay in KK. The receptionist was welcoming and very helpful.

The price is reasonable, but the bathroom is really narrow. Bring your own shampoo, towel, and hangers if you'll need them.
