We got there at 7pm, but there was nobody at the hotel and our calls and WhatsApp messages went unanswered. After three hours, we finally found someone who could track down the caretaker, who was at another place. When we eventually got into the rooms, they still hadn't been cleaned or made ready. Worst hotel experience.
We arrived to find the place closed and waited for hours, looking around the area, but nobody showed up. A local took one of us to several hotels around town to look for someone who knew this hotel. Eventually we found someone who came and opened it. It clearly hadn't been used for months, and then the cleaning still wasn't done. What a sham. Don't plan to stay here.
Under new mgmt, it's a cozy, nice place and very relaxing. The new owner (+60 13-948 3859) is really friendly. He even offered to switch on the aircond early before checj in so the customer would be happy. I'd happily come back.
Checking in and out was easy.
I've stayed here before. The villa is okay, and the owner is okay too, but he doesn't live there. We told him we'd arrive at 1pm and still had to wait for him to hand over the keys. The double bed works for a big family, though the place feels quiet if we're the only ones renting. It's also a bit far from the shops where you can eat.
