Hotel Bestari

Other hotels in Kuala Lipis were full, so I called Bestari Hotel and the friendly staff set aside a room for me. Everyone was helpful during my stay, from the receptionists to the cleaner. I also bought the parking coupons I needed from reception since I didn't have one for parking outside. The room was clean and everything worked. One annoyance was the "swift bird hote"l across the field, which broadcast swift chirping throughout the day for some reason.

A decent but mostly average stay. The room was bright, spacious and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I liked the 3 in 1 coffee. There were ants around the TV rack, so the in-room pest control needs attention. It might have been a good stay if the blurry TV screen could be fixed.

I stayed for four days and three nights and also got a voucher. The place was clean and nice for sleeping, and the staff were polite, always smiling and helpful. The door lock felt secure. After midnight, though, the lobby door is locked and you have to call the hotel. They could add an outside scanner restricted to guests.

The rooms were reasonably comfortable and the price was fair. There's a nice restaurant and laundry service nearby. But the Wi-Fi signal was weak, and when someone in another room flushed, it sounded like a thunderstorm. Check-in was cumbersome and annoying.
