Arte@Mont Kiara Duplex Luxury Homestay w/Balcony by Verano

Walkability is poor here. Despite the Mont Kiara address, the building is out on the outskirts, and the nearest mall is about a 15-minute walk. In practice, you’ll need to Grab almost everywhere. The apartment layout feels odd and poorly planned. There’s just one direct window, in the bedroom, so the living and dining areas get little natural light. The gym is also a strange use of space, with odd pillars, random decorative pieces, and very little equipment. Shared areas, including washrooms, often need reminders to be cleaned even though cleaners are around. By the pool there are chairs but no proper loungers, so it isn’t really set up for relaxing. For me, the location and layout both made the place underwhelming.

I’d passed Arté Mont Kiara a dozen times before stopping one Saturday afternoon. It sits quietly in Mont Kiara, with a clean modern facade and none of the big mall billboards or overwhelming crowds. Inside, there are high ceilings, natural light, and wide corridors, so it doesn’t feel like you’re being pushed through a maze. There were expats, young families, and brunch-goers around, but it never felt suffocating. It’s more about lifestyle than retail. I grabbed something cold at a café and watched the weekend go by: a couple discussing furniture in a home décor store, friends laughing outside a restaurant, and a kid running ahead toward the escalator. The cafés and casual dining options are genuinely good, with fewer fast food chains. Parking is manageable if you arrive before noon. It won’t blow your mind, but it made for a pleasant few hours. I’d go on a lazy weekend morning with nowhere urgent to be.

Stay hub made for a hospitable stay at an affordable price. It was nice, very clean, and conveniently placed, with a mall nearby and buses or taxis available just downstairs. I somehow didn’t take many pictures, but I’d highly recommend it. I loved my time there and hope to visit again.

The wavy exterior really stands out and looks incredible. Around it, the environment feels clean, modern, and vibrant. A unique place to stay, especially if you enjoy photography.
